Hawkclaw lazily placed paw after paw on the sandy ground. His only good amber eye searched the ground as his ears swerved from side to side listening to every whisper the wind carried. After miles of walking he settled down by the waters edge and looked at his horrible mangled face. A crooked frown shimmered back at him through the waters surface. Gently he sighed and lashed out at the water in a slight rage of anger. He never did understand how the battle scars made warriors proud and honorable. In his own mind he was a hideous looking character who filled the nightmares of kits who caught a glimpse of the wrong side. Slowly he felt his eye flicker along the depths of the water looking for some sort of prey but seeing nothing he slowly rose to his paws so he could continue his journey. Maybe after everything he's been through someone would look up to him, not for the way he looked, but for the things he did. That was one of the few hopes that kept him going, well that and maybe finding a mate, but that was even a slim to none chance.

Actions Talking Thinking
Bengalspirit was taking a small walk when he took a glance at the Hidden Cave. Shrugging he walked in, getting a bit annoyed as a droplet hit the brow above his head. He was surprised when he smelt Hawkclaw. "Hello?" he said. He knew that Hawkclaw didn't appreciate him becoming the deputy...But that doesnt mean he had any right to be mean to Bengalspirit, him being a much higher rank than him.

i belong with you Brighteyes ` Warrior` Riverclan Brighteyes was out hunting, alone. Not that it was any different from any other time. Most of the other warriors didn't want to hunt with her because of her habit of following other cats trails rather than that of prey. Yeah she could hunt like the rest of them but she got side tracked sometimes. The white she-cat had been determined to make it to where this was not one of those times. Her feet muked around in some of the mud, making the nasty suction sound that she had gotten used to since coming to live with the Riverclan. Lifting her head she tried to scent for sonera prey, instead she caught wind of two of her clanmates up ahead. It smelled like hawkclaw and bengalspirit. But what would the two of them be doing together? They weren't exactly friends, especially since bengalspirit had been made deputy. She followed the trail and waited a bit behind, not wanting to intrude.

Hawkclaw flicked his tail from side to side as he heard the obnoxious voice of Bengalspirit. His dark amber eye narrowed in frustration. Why is he following me out here? The thought bitterly dug into the crippled warriors mind like the hawk that destroyed his face. "What do you want Bengalspirit?" The words bitterly left his mouth and it wasn't on purpose but just happened naturally. The dark brown tom slowly rose to his paws and headed into the light towards his deputy's voice. His nose twitched as he also picked up a few other scents but none of them stuck out because of Bengalspirit's hideous skunk like ego that clogged his thoughts. Tail tip twitching, paws needing the muddy ground and resulting with the occasional squish of the mud's protest. After storming out of camp certainly made him look angry and despite how much the young warrior wanted to ignore that, he knew it was right. Now that he thought about it storming away like that wasn't right. Just the thought of listening to the newly appointed deputy boast was something Hawkclaw didn't want to hear.
