Silverkit shot from the nurcery, her strong hind legs pushing her father with every bound. "Come on Skykit!" she mewed happily, skidding to a stop.

Skykit yawned sleepily from the inside of the nursery. It wasn't often that Silverkit was awake before her but this just happened to be one of those days. Stretching out her body she yawned once more before washing the sleep from her eyes quickly. There wasn't much kits could do beside play or stay in the nursery and given the chance Skykit would much rather play. Crouching down her tail twitched as she ran out of the warm nursery and barreled into her sister, trying to start a mock fight first thing in the morning.

Silverkit smiled as she was bowled over by her sister. She smiled, she stood up and tackled her sister happily, sending them tumbling "Your not gonna win this time!" she squeaked happily

Skykit rolled on her back as her sister tackled her, kicking upwards with her powerful hind legs. She wouldn't be bested by her sister in fighting, never. "You'll have to try better than that Silverkit. Why don't you give up now and just become a medicine cat apprentice already?" She rolled out from under her sister and leapt up, trying to land ontop of her instead.

Skykit groaned at her sister kicked her off and she tumbled to the ground on her back. She never expected Silverkit to protest being a medicine cat so much. Skykit thought that she would make a great one. "Fine. When I become leader you can be my deputy then." The she-cat rolled back over on her legs and wiped a paw over her face, trying to get some of the dust out of her pelt. "Besides, if you were a medicine cat you could never have a mate or kits."

Silverkit huffed lightly and leped to her paws. Licking a paw, she drew it over her ear "I don't want to be medicine cat... I want to be a warrior" she mewed, sniffing lightly. ruffling out her pelt, she walked over to the fresh kill pile "want to share a squirrel?"

The spotted she-cat stood up and stretched. They were getting close to being apprenticed so they didn't nurse of their mother anymore and fresh kill tasted great in comparison. Still she wasn't too fond of squirrels, there was to much fluff and.not enough food. "I'd rather eat a bird. Are there any birds on the pile?" She flicked her tail back and forth as she walked towards the fresh kill pile, noticing a small finch at the bottom of the pile she pulled it out and dragged it to the shade. She could finish this bird no problem.

Silverpaw smiled, the spotted she cat pulled a bird from the pile. The squirrel was to much prey for her to eat. she draged it over to Skykit. "I found another bird" she mewed happily, settling down next to her sister

Carefully the female parties the feathers on the breast of the bird, plucking some of them out and laying them to the side. Bird was much better than squirrel anyday. That and even in leafbare there were always birds fluttering around the cliffs, at least that was what she had been told by others. "Just think Silverkit, soon we can hunt our own fresh kill and go on patrols!"

Skykit twitched her tail back and forth happily as she thought about all the adventures they would have when they became apprentices. They'd even get to go to gatherings and meet other clans! "How awesome would it be to fight the Windclan? Or even the shadowclan? I bet their apprentices are weaker than new kits! I bet we could take them on now!"

'We can deffinatly jump higher then they can!" Silverkit said, smiling at her sister, their small argument completely forgotten. The Spotted kit stood out and shook out her pelt
